I live and paint in a quiet, rural setting in the midwest. My contemporary paintings of the American heartland are inspired by the beauty and vastness of our country.
I love painting historical Americana, especially simple views of old farmsteads, houses, cabins, hazy days and big skies. I have been working on a series of paintings that show my impression of these calm and peaceful landscapes.
